SASA and its....annoying SA

Yesterday, I went to my usual leisure spot, Jusco, with my sis. After we done stuffing our sweet stomach with the sinfully slice of Secret Recipe cake, I dragged my sis to Watson, planning to test some bb cream as mine at home already reaching to its end. I rushed to the BRTC bb cream shelve only to see there are no tester tube available. So, I step out from Watson and headed to SASA.

I actually love SASA. They selling a wide range of beauty product including those from Korea and Japan which cant be found in other beauty / pharmacy store. The price are acceptable too. Everytime I go there, there are always something that I want to see. However, despite off all the good things, there is one thing that I hate most in SASA, and it is their SA (sales assistants). I mean, not all..but some of them can be pretty annoying. I remember I read somewhere that their SA can be very pushy too, which I do believe is true, even tho I dont really have any experience with pushy SASA SA.

So, back to my story, I went into SASA and my eyes start to linger for any bb cream around, and yay~ I saw a shelve full with Shills bb cream. I patted some from the tester tube to my arm, and by that time, I already noticed one SA already standing next to me. After done with Shills, I walk around finding other brand, with the escort from the SA, which I dont really mind at first even I prefer to shop without being watched by her. She just tailing me everywhere. Finally, I found Dr. G bb cream range that Im really interested to try. The SA asked if Im looking for bb cream. I said yes and start to grab the tester tube and patted it on my back palm just to see the shade. If its a right shade, then I might buy it next month.

After Im done, I walked away from the shelve, followed buy the SA. I thought want to stay awhile more, but my sister signaling me to out faster. Since there is nothing more that I really want to see, so I step out from the store. While walking, my sister told me that I was surrounded by 4 SA while testing the Dr.G bb cream. I was like..wah!! FOUR??! And the distance from each other is close too, with some of them having their arms crossed, you know like people waiting for something, and of course with snobbish face. Thats what my sister told me.

Honestly, I dont like to browse with a SA escorting me every step that I made in the shop. How I wish I could just chase them away. But sometimes we need to understand that its their job to "assist" us even sometimes their "assistance" are not really necessary. But seriously, I dont need FOUR girls in black standing watching me patting bb cream with their sharp look. Hello~ am I look like a thief wearing net mask or something that I need an extra six eyes to watch over me?

Or I guess you're afraid that I would slap the whole tester tube to my face and body like nobody business huh? Ohh..but Im not the type of people who abused all tester stuff on the counter. Or are you girls intend to chase me away like some people would do to customer who camping in their store for hours without buying? But..wait, Im not even stand there for 1 hour. Infact I just step in like less than 10 minutes ago?

So, girls.. what's your motive of surrounding a customer at every edge. Dont you realize that it will just only scare them away or at the very least, annoyed them for sure instead of attract them to buy? I bet this might be one of the reason why I see SASA here is always empty. It was Saturday, and people just crowding in Watson beauty stuff section next door, while SASA was only having like 1-2 customer when I step in and zero when I left.

Im not trying to defaming SASA or what, but I really hope their store manager could give guidelines to their SA on how to assist the customer without "scaring" them away. Even I dont feel like stepping inside whenever I see the shop is empty because I know I would be 'attacked' by their SA. It such a pity since there a lots of goodies sitting on their shelves. Fortunately that most of Japanese or Korean product that are sold in SASA can be found online. I rather pay extra for the shipping~

At least I can browse the stuff peacefully without someone tailing me with a dirty look. pfft!!

My internet is back!

Finally! After a very suffering 1 month using the bleh dial-up, after a countless number of being disconnected, after a gazillions of cursing because of the slower than snail dial-up connection, after a few meals at McD just to get a good internet, after competing the telephone wire with my bro just to get online, after many many sms as msn substitution which actually doubled up my monthly bills, and now its here! Yes! Streamyx staff came to my house today and activate my long awaited upgraded Streamyx.

They give us a wireless or router modem or wadsoever it is called, so now Im no longer in need in using my 15m of lan cable which is quite convenient. I can bring my laptop and surf net everywhere in my house now. In living room, in parent's bedroom, in dining hall, or even in toilet if I want too. Haha! No need to lock myself in this small bedroom just to get online whole day.

So, am I satisfied or not? So far, my msn dced 4 times, and I already restart the modem once. I can say its not a good start yet. Perhaps I should let it to settled down for few days before make any complaints.

And how's the so called 4mbps speed performance? I downloaded a zipped file of 39mb in 10 minutes, and now a 54mb file which expected to finish downloaded in 40 minutes times. Hmm, sounds unstable. But perhaps because there is other 2 computers in my house that using internet right now so it got split into 3, thus I cant complain much.

But as long as I can surf internet like before, I will not care much about it. Finally I can set my mind free again. I just tired being trapped in this apartment block, doing nothing and having a huge view of school constructing site as my window's view of panorama. What a brain torturing.

I didnt say that internet is my whole life, but instead its a part of my life which Im really glad to have it back.

A day in Residence Hotel

Im currently online from Residence Hotel UNITEN.
Dont ask what the hell that Im doing here, because I dont want to tell you why. Seriously, the reason is quite lame. But whatever it is that's ok since I enjoy my every stay in hotel. I'm a hotel lover since Im a travel lover.

The hotel provides wifi to residents by just paying RM3 per day which is very cheap. Thats how I get myself online now.

The signal is low but the speed is normal, gazillion better than my stupid dial-up.

Remember in previous post I said my dial-up speed is only 28kbps which is pathetic? Now it goes much worse as the best speed I can get now is only 16.8kbps. I can say goodbye to my meebo already. And my record with my dial-up so far is 4.3kbps which equivalence to no internet at all. Damn it.

Anyway, just forget about my dial-up as now Im enjoying my wifi from hotel room, such a comfortable way to surf internet. Ahhh...

Im so happy to be able to read all my favourites blog updates as well as window shopping. I just done surfing Pei2 thread. Wow, there are lots of new stuff. But too bad Im very broke right now since I havent get any job yet. Sigh..

Im still waiting for interviews after sending my resume to several people. Really hope will get any good news soon. I cant wait to smell new money notes in my hand. I already had enough time always having only smelly RM1 notes in my pocket. Seriously, my wallet need some fresh air.

With this 1 day internet, I grab my chance to listen to my favourite Japan techno group, Perfume latest single titled Fushizen na Girl. I really love love love that song. Infact, Im going to download the pv before I going to sleep soon. Because of money issue, I didn pre-order the single but thats ok, since Im going to buy their album for sure. Missing a single wont be such a big deal if we getting the album instead.

And of course I wont miss signing my abandoned msn. Happy to see my dear dear online. Even Im happy to see he smsing more frequent asking about my whereabouts while my internet is missing, msn still among the convenient way. Today even he busy studying but we still manage to chat. He just went to bed awhile ago, which means my time to go to bed soon.

Now its very cold here till I wrapping myself with blanket like a giant KFC Twister.

Back then when we just check-in here, the hotel was having some problem with the air-condition till my father make a noise complaining to the manager. We then was allowed to change room, even he said most room are having the same problem currently. Now I guess the problem already solved.

Oh..I only staying here for 1 night only, so tomorrow evening I will back to my pathetic dial-up. Nooooo!!! Hate!Hate!Hate!

But I got a great news. My father said 8th April my Streamyx is coming back. My awaits finally reaching the end. Happy!Happy!Happy! I just hope it wont got delayed by any means or else Im going to curse them!

I wish I could adhere infront of my laptop till the moment I checking out tomorrow, but sleeping in nice air-conditioned hotel room is something that I dont bear to miss as well. So Im going to sleep now.

2 weeks more to go

2 weeks has passed since my streamyx got "cut-off". And Im glad Im still alive. Wohoo~! Ok, I know Im not going to die just because of the absence of broadband, unless if I am some sort of game freak who treat online games as her/his gf/bf or food. Those people really exist. Believe me. Hey! Some people can let their poor baby died in hunger because they were busy feeding their virtual baby you know. This is true story, I aint lying.

Anyway, how did I survive my days without streamyx? Of course my sucky dial-up helps a lot. Even now I need to compete with my second bro who always try to grab the line phone, but, it still better than nothing, right? The only thing that Im afraid is how my father face going to look like when he receive the phone bill at the end of this month? The bills going to exceed RM100. Scary T_T

Now, I already stop using ebuddy as my msn substitution. Instead, Im using meebo. Thanks to Nanako for the recommendation. This is much much better than ebuddy. I can pop out the chat box like msn, less dc, less copy and paste those failed to sent messages and the most important thing is I can say goodbye forever to that noisy advertisement that haunt my ear on ebuddy. The only downside is the new message sound isnt as loud as msn and the "bling" are not colored like msn. But never mind, at least I still can see when new message coming.

Since I cant online so frequent already, I sms with people who I always chat on msn a lot (except with someone who always has no credit. Pftt). It looks like not only my house phone bill, but my hand phone bills going to sky high too >_<. Normally my hp bills are between RM18-RM30, but most probably it will go beyonds RM30 this time. But I guess thats ok since it just once in a while >_<

How about my window shopping habit? Well.. at first I thought no streamyx, no shopping. But I guess I am totally wrong. Im still spending. I just pre-ordered latest LOVE album, secure my latest Ayu album, and spending on some beauty stuff again. I can still load my destructed paypal and maybank2u account despite of the speed of king of snail with dial-up. I should give myself a tight slap. *piak*

Nevertheless, there are still some stuff that totally cant do without streamyx. I can chat, I can surf forum, I can blog without pictures, I can shop without tons of pictures. But I totally cant do any video/music stream. I cant open whatsoever application on facebook. Im glad that Im not a heavy facebook user nor youtube. I cant download files more than 3mb if I dont want to wait too long. All those stuff that require high bandwidth, I can just totally forget it.

So when some of my friends intro me to some songs, Im sorry I cant listen to them unless if he/she willing to convert the songs to smallest size and send to me via email. And now there are 3 of my favourite Japan artist that are releasing their new album/single which are Ayumi, Perfume and LOVE. While other people can enjoy the leaks from those album, by downloading it or watching them from youtube, I just only can know what things are already leaked from my friend Nanako and from her I know I already missed lots of thing T_T.

Im still blaming TmNuts and Screamyx for my internet nightmare. In this modern high tech era when people treating internet like rice for everydays consumption, how could they still make 1 freaking month as "quarantine" period for changing account which is actually for upgrading purposes? What a bullshit procedure.

Blah..guess I need to cope for this final 2 weeks. If my internet not coming back after 2 weeks, Im going to throw big thantrum to TmNet. Ok??!!

No Streamyx for 1 month

My father decided to upgrade my streamyx to 4mbps speed. Initially I was excited. Imagine, from 512kbps to 4mbps. Wow, 8 times faster. Cool. In order to get that freaking speed, the old streamyx need to be terminated before we change to the new one. Oh, ok, fine. But only AFTER it got terminated, my father said that I need to wait for at least 1 month before the new streamyx can be activated. I was like.... ONE MONTH?? Without streamyx?? NOOOO!!!

Why on earth they need to take a 1 freaking month just to create the account? Hello, its not that I didnt pay the bills thus I need to wait for 1 month fine for reactivation or whatsoever. We want to upgrade! Or can I say that we want to give them more money. So why make us to wait so long. Ohya, actually we need to wait AT LEAST 1 month before the account can be activated. Means it might take more than 1 month. Wow, unbelievable.

Seriously, I feel as if I got conned. Sigh..

And now, I need to rely on snail speed of 54kbps dial-up. And of course it wont run at 54kbps, my current speed now is only 24kbps. Even tortoise already done crossing the road while me still loading my yahoo mail. My parent dont agree to sign up for P1Wimax as the subscription is based on 1-2 year contract. Any my mum seems not interested in getting Celcom broadband. I wish I got money now so I can just get it for myself T_T

With this speed, no need to dream making a blog post full with pictures. I even cant sign in my msn. Left alone youtube. No more Texas Hold'm Poker for now. And my cafe world will be abandoned for 1 month plus because I cant cook dishes for my restaurant.

Window shopping become much harder. I cant even view pei2 thread as there are too many pictures. I only can load 1 tab at 1 time instead of 10++ tabs when I window shopping using streamyx. My joy of online shopping is vanished by more than half.

My job haunnting of course become much more difficult too. Surfing jobstreet is damn slow, and I cant even use google map properly for directions purposes. Sometimes I need to ask my dar or frens to help me seeing the map.

Since I rely a lot on msn to get connected with my dear and others, I need to use ebuddy as substitution for my dead msn. And it keep disconnected everytime I try to load any website with heavy traffic. And the most annoying thing is, ebuddy has this arabic advertisement that keep refreshed whenever I tab out the chat box. Why I said the advertisement very annoying? Is because it has been implemented with some sort of music and I cant mute them! I feel like pulling my thin hair evertime the song play by itself. So the only way is to just mute my computer sound. Ish.

Now my second brother is back for holiday. That means I cant use this dial-up as much as I want too as he might use it for ipta scholarship application whatsoever. I just hope I still can find my time to get online since I need to alert on any job enlistment and keep checking my mail incase there is any interview call out. I got my own importance too, you know.

Ahh..this is so annoying. I still cannot accept that I need to wait for 1 month. Is this real? I wonder if it just some misunderstanding since its not my father who handling this new account but my relatives. Maybe my father had missed out something, thus the 1 month waiting time? I also not sure.

Sometimes I wish time goes slower but this time I wish time can go faster and faster. Sigh..

Review: Mandom Beauty Cleansing Express Eye Make Up Remover

Price : Around RM22++ something from Watson

I was looking for a replacement of my Maybelline Make Up remover which almost finished that time as I accidentally spilled almost half bottle of it on the floor*ouch*. I decided to find other brand since the Maybelline wasnt really effective in removing my Volume cat eye mascara. After looking around, my eye caught on a new standee at Watson with Mandom Cleansing Express range product which I believed just been brought to Malaysia. I saw the eye make up remover and straight away love the packaging (I am sucky for cute packaging). However, since I never heard this brand before, I decided to put it on hold to search for some reviews.

And I found lots of good reviews about this make up remover so few days later I came back and straight grab this to the cashier.

First of all, I really love the printed details on the bottle as it quite cute and has the high quality feeling.

The bottle tip is like most of other make up remover out there. You need to pour this on cotton pad and start your erasing process.


The product consist of 2 layers of oil, so must shake it well before using.


So, is it work as what other people claims? For me, it works quite well on my eyeliner and eye shadow as I need only 1 - 2 rub before they vanished from my eye. However, I also found out that I still need to put some effort to remove my Maybelline Cat eye mascara. It kinda a bit disappointing as I was hoping to find something which can rub this easily from my lashes. I guess the mascara itself is the type that very hard to remove.

See how dirty is the cotton pad after single wipe.

My eyes was actually cleaned after that except for my eyelashes which still have traces of stubborn mascara.

Of course after that you need to clean your face thoroughly with cleanser.


Overall, I think this product is ok, and I can assure it work better than the Maybelline one. I might consider in repurchasing this, as the price is cheap for 140ml of product and it work except on my mascara. But I believed it will work well in removing other brand of mascara, so hopefully I already change my mascara by the time I repurchase this product.
