Hello world!

When was the last time I logged into this blog? I can't even remember, but it has been a very long time that I feel this blog is slowly turning into some sort of fossil.

Then, I scrolled over some of my old posts, some of them sounds so silly that I decided to remove it. I guess I was too young to wrote such silly posts.

By the way, I am currently in my final exam week (YESS STILL STUDYING), and I just screwed up my Criminal Procedure Code paper. I have a very super strong feeling that I will sit for supplementary exam for that subject. Honestly, that was one of the worst paper that I had. I really feel bad for the lecturers who need to mark my answer sheet. The hand writing was just horrible, the answer was just as horrible as the hand writing. The saddest thing was, it is not that I don't know how to answer, but because I was totally out of time that I started to panic during the last hour and there goes all the answer. All thanks for my very bad time management.

It would be a a miracle if I passed that paper.
But.. miracle do exist right?! (trying hard to think positive)

I have two more papers left, one mock trial, and after that.. good bye student life!. No.. maybe I only can say goodbye after my expected supplementary exam.. -_-

**cries**

Review: Rohto Lychee Eye Drops for Contact Lens and Rohto Z!

This is going to be a delayed review as I already using it for a year. >_<

Rohto is one of famous brand from Japan. Among their popular product is their eyedrops with a wide range of type for various use and Rohto Lychee Eye Drops and Rohto Zi are among their popular hot selling product.

I bought these two eyedrops from ebay merchant that selling products from Japan as these cant be found in Malaysia. Even some of the product can be found here in Malaysia or outside Japan, but they tends to repackaged to another container which is hmm... less cuter than what they have in Japan. I know this might sound lame, but one of the main reason why I bought these is because their super kawaii packaging. Ahh..I just love anything that looks cute. <3

This Rohto Lychee is packaged in a beautiful glittery diamond shaped pink packaging. The one that I bought comes with a love-shaped case which is for storing the diamond shaped eyedrops.

So did I like this product, other than the packaging? Yes!! I always put 2-3 drops of this when I feel my contact lens starting to dry on my eyes. Once I use it, I can feel it wet my dry eyes instantly and I can continue to wear my contact lens comfortably for another next few hours.

Next is Rohto Zi. The reason why I bought this, aside from its packaging is because I was attracted to the fact that my eyes will feel like "icy" cool once I drop in onto my eyes. When I was using this for the first time, I admit that I feel a little bit scared about the cool stingy effect that Im going to feel. Yes it stings at first, as if you put something very cool in your eyes. My eyes straight become watery due to the sting, but once the sting feelig gone, my eyes feel slightly cool, fresh and rejuvenated!

Overall Im happy with these eyedrops. I might repurchase once my stock runs out.

Another crossroad!

I've been jobless for a few months since my contract with MDeC ended last August. I wanted to find a new job, I mean permanent steady job but something was stopping me from doing so, which is the urge to further my study.

So when my ex Uni opened their next intake for December, I give it a try to apply (for one last time). This time I never chosed any science courses. I learned my mistake from big failure of not finishing my BSc (Hons) Material Technology. It was among my biggest mistake in my life accepting that course back then. Damn it actually wasted 1 and half year of my precious life.

And finally the new intake result was revealed recently. Without much confident, I went to the website, key-ing in my IC number just to see if my application managed to get through. I already set in my mind, if I failed the application or if they offered me with lousy "lelong" course, I will just proceed with my job hunting, aiming for at least RM1.8K job for my diploma cert.

Unconfidently, I pressed enter just to see...my application managed to get through, and whats more? I got an offer to do BLS, aka Bachelor (Hons) of Legal Study aka Law! I was happy, because I didnt expect that I will get this course... But then, something stopping me again. It will took me at least 3 year prior completion and if I want to become a lawyer, I need to add another year to do my CLP, which add up for the total of 4 years to get the cert. And by that time, Im already 27!! Gosh, another 4 years of studying. And within the 4 years time, I m going to become a penniless student as I need to live with RM300 per month as pocket money. I cant shop like I used to when I had a job. Thinking about it make me feels like crying. I know maybe people see this as a small matter, but somehow it is not for me T.T

So this might happened if I took the course:
- Spent 3-4 years studying.
- Living with RM300 per month ohmygosh
- no money = less food and not much choice on transport (taking cab will make me broke in no
time) = more diet and walking to class = bigger possible to get slim? lol
- I graduate after 3 years, and got chance to hold a post in legal department, or graduate after 4
years and got chance to practice as lawyer.
- Can earn a lot, i mean really a lot as I progress my career in law institution.
- However all that only can happen after the age of 27.

And this might happened if I reject the offer:
- Proceed finding job
- Living with salary at least RM1.8K per month.
- I can shop, buy this and that, groom myself. Enjoy my young life.
- However, maybe I cant push my career to much higher as I dont have a degreee.
- There is a possibility that I might stuck at my position without much promotion?
- I can take part time study ( it going to be very tedious) or e-pjj course (less tedious but more
time consuming. But I guess by the time I got the degree certificate, Im already 30.
- There is no way I can take law part time (because its hard) and that course isnt offered for e-
pjj, so maybe I'll just end up with Degree in Admin or in Business Study which means, my
income eventually will not become as high as when I took the law course (unless I venture
myself into business world of course)

So in conclusion, taking the course is good for long term. I can become somebody, I can get lots of money, but I need to sacrifice my young age. I need to say goodbye to my shopping wishlist. I need to say goodbye to expensive skin regime. I need to say goodbye for anything related to money within the 4 years time.

If I dint take the course, its good for a short term period, but I might having some problem once I got more life commitment. Means I can enjoy my young life but after that, it wont be so sure anymore, unless if Im lucky like some people out there who can make money, without high education certificate.

How I wish if money doesnt really matter. If I can have more than RM300 as monthly pocket money, maybe I wont think so much about being utterly broke while studying. My bf told me that he can support me once he graduate next year ( I was shocked and happy when he told me this >.<), or maybe I can do some small business or small part time job to add my pocket money. But all that are still uncertain. For now what already confirm is the RM300 pocket money..lol

So this is my crossroad. Further my study, or proceed as working adult. I really cant decide yet. Oh God please help me decide. I dont want to make another mistake that can make me regret for the rest of my life..

My way to remove "Ori" sticker.

I bet quite a number of people out there dont mind about the "Ori" sticker that has been sticked on most Cd sold in Malaysia. Well, since its indicate that the cd are "original". However, I do mind. You know why? Because they just freaking love sticking it at the front part of booklet, or any other strategic part instead on the plastic shrink wrap. And if you are lucky enough, they can just paste their ugly LPF sticker at the face of your beloved singer.

As a cd collector, the packaging is very important for me. Sometimes, I can buy a cd just because I adore the packaging more than the content. Most of the Cd that I collect are from Japan. I really adore how Japanese packed their stuff as they will always try to preserve the collectible value of the item. Most of the time, stickers are only being pasted on the plastic wrap instead of booklet, or the worst, on cd case.

Enough of that, now Im gonna show you how I remove the ori sticker from the cd booklet/box. I bet many people got their own way, but this is my way on how to do it. If there is any better way, feel free to let me know.

First, just peel it off, slowly and carefully.

You will see some remaining of the sticker.

To remove these sticker stain, just pour 2-3 drops of oil (Im using my olive oil make up remover that I use to clean my make up brush) onto a cotton pad, or a clean tissue.

After that just rub the stain off, and you can see the sticker residue being removed effortlessly.

Clean the oil residue, and voila. Now your cd is free from Ori sticker.

You can also use this way to clean any other sticker smudge on your stuff.

However, I got a bit of problem to remove the LPF sticker as it cant be peeled off easily.

You need to peel it bit by bit before remove the sticker stain using the oil.

Thats all on how I remove sticker/sticker stain on my cd collection. Hope it helps for other cd collectors out there. :D

Review: Mandom Cleansing Express, Cleansing Gel

I finally finished my 1st bottle of Cleansing Express sebum. Initially, I was thinking whether I should just grab my 2nd bottle. But after reading a review about this being better than the cleansing lotion, I decided to give it a try.

It is a water based gel, without paraben and fragrance, which is good for sensitive skin.

The ingredient:-

Made in Japan, so the quality is assured as most item from Japan are high in quality.

Instead of removing make up using cotton pad for lotion type, for gel type, you need to apply it like how you using your facial cleanser, and rinse it with water upon using.

My experience on using this product? It can remove my face make up like bb cream, powder and blusher very well, however I got some problem in removing eye make up with this gel. It cant remove my Majolica Majorca mascara (just like the lotion), plus I had a bit of problem in removing my eyeliner especially at waterline since Im trying to avoid the gel from getting into my eye, like how we avoid cleanser foam to get into our delicate eye. So most of the time, I will use Cleansing Express Eye Make Up Remover for eye make up.

So whats my opinion for this product compare to the lotion type? Honestly, I prefer the lotion type more over this. I think by using cotton pad, we can get more control on which face area to clean especially for those harder to reach area like eyes.

Overall, this make up remover wasnt that bad, but less convenient than the lotion type. The price however is cheaper by few RM tho. You can get this at Watson, Jusco and SASA outlets.

My ratings: 6/10

Review: Mandom Beauty Cleansing Express Sebum

Actually I bought this quite awhile already. Infact, the bottle already reached the bottom XD. This is a water based make-up remover from Japan. There are 4 types of them, which is for oily skin (green), dry skin (white), anti-aging (orange) and the latest one, for sensitive skin(purple). I bought the green bottle since I have a combination, more to oily skin.

Picture taken from Mandom Beauty website. (the flower pattern are slightly different from the one that I bought)

So, my review about this product?

I love it! 1-2 squirt of this lotion on a cotton pad is just enough to remove make up from my face. You may need 2 cotton pads for thicker make up. And from the description, you can just straight go to bed without cleaning your face after using this. But I still wash my face after using this, just want to make sure my face is really clean, plus its a routine to wash my face before going to bed. However, this make up remove failed in removing my Marjolica Majorca mascara (most stubborn mascara!) . It can remove my Relian Mascara effectively tho. So most of the time, Im using this to clear all make up on my face plus using Mandom Beauty cleansing express Eye Make up Remover for my eye make up.

Plus, its free from alcohol, preservative, oil, fragant, colorant which is very good for sensitive skin.

Overall, this is going to be something that I will repurchase. For Malaysian, you can find this at Watson or Jusco. I forgot the price but I think its around RM28-RM3X something which is affordable for a huge 300ml bottle.

My rating: 7/10 (I wish it can remove my MM mascara)

Ecotools brushes haul.

Yeah, been wanting this brushes since people claims it to be among the softest brushes which never sheds, cheap, and made from synthetic fur which is good for those who sensitive towards real animal fur.

So here it is!!

TADA!!

I bought mine from ebay auction at a very cheap price which is USD12 for BOTH including shipping. I did googled around just incase there are any fake Ecotools product on ebay, but since like there are no complains about it so far. So I guess it is safe? Plus, Ecotools brushes are made from China after all.

Anyway, I love the brushes. Its really soft and I love touching it. The baby kabuki is a bit out of shape though since it got pressed in the packing. But thats alright.

If anyone interested in getting it from ebay, you can get it from this seller. You can choose to buy through "buy it now" at a fix price or through "auction" for cheaper price depends on your luck and sometimes skill, like me..lol. The shipping was fast, which is less than 2 weeks for my case. Or for those lyn shopper or Malaysian buyer, you can buy the brushes from this seller who selling it at RM35 per set (it was RM29.90 initially but the price increased due to high demand) and also no reservation. Well, she cant reserve them for me when I was outstation during Raya back then and even the post office still havent back in operation from holiday. But I guess in business, there is no compromise and time cant wait ( even in certain circumstances)? Lol. But still, she got among the best price for this brushes, even still cant beat the dirt cheap price from ebay.

So, for those who want to find a good make up brush, yet affordable, get this! Its totally worth it :)

Hada Labo Hauls and a short review!

After seeing many good reviews, plus testing from the sample given to me like months back, I finally decided to purchase some product from Hada Labo, a brand from Japan.

So, here's my pick

From left to right:
Super Hyaluronic Acid (SHA) Moisturizing face wash, AHA/BHA face wash, SHA Moisturizing Lotion, SHA Moisturizing Cream, SHA Moist Mist.

Well, maybe people who not familiar with Hada Labo might wonder why did I bought 2 kinds of face wash, or both lotion and cream. So here's the reason why. Im using SHA Moisturizing face wash as my daily cleanser, while the AHA/BHA face wash is a substitution for scrub, since it exfoliate skins. SHA Moisturizing Lotion act as toner, while the SHA Moisturizing cream, is obviously a moisturizer.

What about the moist mist? It is to be used whenever your skin need extra hydration while in air-cond room or anywhere, and the best thing is, it can be used over make up without melting it. Plus the size is very convenient to bring inside handbags.

As I already using some of the products for couple of weeks, Im gonna throw in some short review in this post.

The SHA face wash:
So far I like it. It doesnt make my skin dry of course due to the SHA ingredients. And it never cause any break outs to me, plus this is the only scentless face wash that Im using so far, which is great.

AHA/BHA face wash:
Love love love this. I feel my skin smoother everytime I washing my face with this product. It really exfoliate well, and I think I dont need to use any scrub anymore. Scrub always irritates my skin anyway. So this is a very good replacement over scrub. And it scentless too. But please take note that you need to use a sunscreen product incase you washing your face using this during day. Thats one of the reason why I only using this at night, since I dont really wear sunscreen, accept for my bb cream.

SHA Lotion:
Another love from SHA range. Infact, this is the best selling product for Hada Labo. 1 bottle sold every 4 seconds in Japan. Wow. I love how it hydrates my skin very well. I can feel some rough surface on my skin subsides a bit when using this lotion. But remember to pat it instead of applying it straight to the skin, because if you dont pat, it will remain sticky on your face. Like the face wash, this is scentless too.

SHA Cream:
There is another version of this product, called SHA Moisturizing Milk, which is in milky lotion form. But I heard quite of reviews saying that it can become too sticky and runny, thus I choose the new cream form instead. It not greasy at all, scentless. But dont put too much, especially for those with oily skin as it may remain sticky. This product also need to be patted on skin instead of straight applying it using your hand to our face.
Moist Mist:
Love this. My face tends to dry in air-cond room, thus this is my problem solver for my case. And it wont melt in your make up too!

Hada Labo product can be bought exclusively at Guardian for Malaysia market. I got 10% discount on my purchases so if you want to get the discounted price, you better be hurry.

And one more thing, Hada Labo that been sold in Malaysia, are made in China, instead of Japan. However, they are manufactured with high quality control, so no worries. But for those who really want it to be made in Japan, you might need to order it from Japan Spree, or purchasing it at Singapore (seems like they selling made in Japan hada labo there). Get ready to pay more though.

If you want to know more about Hada Labo product, can add their facebook for more information.

Update: After using the AHA/BHA face wash for quite awhile, I noticed that it kinda dried up my skin as Im using it frequent. And dry skin makes my skin break out. So now I guess I'll try to just use it 3 times per week and see how it goes.

DIY: Lip Scrub

Recently while surfing youtube videos, I came across a beauty guru channel by Michelle Phan and Im seriously hooked! There are many beauty gurus out there, and she isnt the prettiest among them, but somehow her videos are really fun to watch for (well..at least for me). I love the music she used, her words, the way she narrates the videos, her sweet voice, instruction, description, the humor, the randomness or maybe should I say I love almost everything about her videos! Even my sister who not really into make up stuff can watch her video from start to the end. Haha! I know most people who love make ups already know about her, but incase you dont know. you can check out here channel here.

So back to the title, I saw one of her video titled Kissable Lips DIY. In the video, she shows how to get a soft kissable lips by exfoliate the lips using DIY lip scrub. As I think it look easy and fun, so I decided to try it out!

This is the lips before it get scrubbed, I hope it doesnt look gross :(

What you need is pretty simple. A table spoon of sugar, 2 table spoon of honey and a squirt of vaseline. You can buy vaselline from pharmacies like Watson or Guardian. I got mine in 50g tub for RM4++ .

Firstly, put all the stuff in a small container.

Stir it so that you can get a gritty texture like so.

Next, just put it onto your lips like how you apply lip balm, and then just rub it all over your lips using your fingers.

Again, sorry if the teeth look gross >_<

Finally, wipe it off with wash cloth or tissue. And tada...! You get an exfloliated lips. Can see the difference?

I never scrub my lips before, and I think this way is very simple yet fun! And did I tell you that the scrub taste yummy too? Even with vaseline. Lol.

Have fun trying it for those who interested! And you might check Michelle Phan's channel for more fun tutorial.!

Thats all. Thanks for reading ^_^

I will always feel there is a big bump on my lower left chick especially when I just woke up from a slumber. And now it getting worst till the the level that most thing that involve the movement of mouth muscle hurts! It making me damn frustrated for the whole day as Im having pain everytime Im swallowing my saliva as if Im having a throat ulcer which is not and chewing food is such a chore. Dont even think of chewing something like gummy bear when your gummy is sick, you gonna scream ouchhh...!

Overdue haul: Circle lenses

Back then, I owned only 2 pairs of circle lenses which is XCK-105 and Barbie Super Nudy Green and thats it. But ever since I got my temporary job, I started browsing back those circle lenses shop and thread and now I think I have fall into the circle lens bandwagon once again.

So this is my few months back (thats why I called this an overdue haul) pick on circle lenses.

From left to right:
Big DM23 brown, Max Pure pink, Max Pure Brown and MX-21 Black

I also bought a few sets of lens case, or else where am I gonna put all these lenses right.

The bottles are so pretty so I think I might keep them as collection. lol.

If you wondering what are the brand of these circle lens, DM23 and Max Pure Pink are from Dueba and MX-21 is from G&G but I heard people said Dueba and G&G is a same brand.

And for my Max Pure Brown, I have no idea whether this is from Dueba or EOS, because the supplier (Jujulens) change the original label into their own label:

So now the bottle label is Jujulens, instead of (insert brand name here). In my opinion, I dont think this is a good idea, since they should at least state what is the real brand right? And they even ditch the lens name. Plus some people (like me) might want to collect the bottle with different pretty labels, instead of having 4 pairs of different lens but with same label and no specific name and brand, sounds boring right?

Just a low quality picture on how each lenses look like:
Top from left: DM23 Brown and Max Pure Pink
Bottom from left: MX-21 Black and Max Pure Brown

Anyway, I might reviewing each lens when I have time. So far Im liking all of them, especially the Max Pure series. And more big hauls on circle lens are coming soon. So stay tune. And yes I guess I am now addicted to circle lens!

Lippie Hauls: MyLipStuff and NYX

I think this is my biggest haul so far, just for lip product, at least for someone who not really a make up junkie like me.

So, here it is!

MyLipStuff.com. Its the coolest lip balm merchant in a whole world. You can choose over 400+ flavor for your lipbalms. I bet choosing flavor isnt easy. I myself spent few days just to pick my flavour. lol.

Upside Down Pineapple Cake, Shamrock Shake, Jalapeno Poppers and Twisted Melon.

The packaging is very simple, but thats ok.

All sounds yummy didnt they? Except for the Jalapeno Poppers of course which sounds rather scary. Lol.

And, how it really feels and TASTE on lips?

[Upside Down Pineapple Cake]
Im not a fan of pineapple, but why did I choose this? It because I saw a lot of good reviews on the reviews section, and all of them except 1, gave this 4 stars and above.

And now my opinion. I smell a lot of coconut in this, mix with vanilla or caramel, but cant really sense the pineapple. Honestly, its no as yummy as I thought it could be, but its not that bad. However, I wont repurchase this flavor.

Next....!

[Shamrock Shake]
I never taste the real Shamrock Shake aka minty milkshake, but this lip balms is really really good. Its minty and smells delicious. Have you ever eat Andes chocolate with mint flavor? It smells exactly like that! Just one complain, the minty feeling doesnt last long. But overall, I love this, It's my favourite among others. Might repurchase.

the most interesting one..

[Jalapeno Poppers]
People said "Jalapeno" flavours is good as lip plumpers, as you will feel hot as if you smeared the real jalapeno onto your lips, while "Jalapeno Poppers" is same as Jalapeno, but with addition of cheese flavor. And yes! Its hootttt on my lips and I can feel the tingling burning sensation. Shortly after that, my lip plumped. Cool isnt it. But the only turn off is this balm smell sour. I guess because of the cheese? Not going to repurchase this, or maybe I'll just choose "Jalapeno" next time.

[Twisted Melon]
Actually this is my sis lip balms. She dont know how to choose out of 400++ different flavors, but then she said to me that she want something fruity and minty, and I ended choose this. The melon is there, but sadly, the mint isnt really there. So, thumbs down for this. Not going to repurchase.

And honestly, the balm texture itself is good, very moisturize. And the great thing is all the ingredients to make these balmies are natural. So no chemicals added.

And for NYX.
Megashine Lip Gloss in Beige, Megashine Lip Gloss in Smokey Look, and Round lipstick in Indian Pink.

I bought the megashines from other seller from lyn while the Indian Ink was purchased together with the MLS. Im not going to review these for now since I dont have a good lighting source currently to snap swatches.

If anyone wondering how did I get my hand for MLS, actually I joined a US spree handled by someone called Rowena from lyn. She handles several sprees at time, and recently, she just opened a new forum, just for her spree http://forum.malaysianbeautystore.com/.

Anyway, Im going to sleep now since its very late already. Lucky Im on leave tomorrow. Yay~

Good night~
